Free Weights help..

I have recently added a free weight workout at the end of a exercise bycycle workout. My question is what are some of the better upper body lifts that will help me firm up muscletone.

well to firm up you can have a good diet.. but free weight..

flat bench dumbell raises.

are good basic three. Also dips and push ups :)

i sprained my wrist pretty bad few weeks doing that...my left gave out and my wrist went out with it - my spotter was too late :sad3:

i gotta tape my wrist from now on

hey bro you been doing those forearm exercise I told you about a while ago??

anyway yeah that sucks you can get wrist wraps to keep your wrist in place and that helps. I used to use them when I did some heavy power lifting

actually i have been...ive also threw in a neck workout...

my forearms have grew half an inch...starting today im switching my diet and gonna start bulking up...so they will grow a bit more before i go back to cutting

dumbell rows have gotten alot easier for me...i can 105s with no loss of grip...

GOD I hate that exercise.. use dumbells and and not too much barbell.

Flyes kick ass. Go for a lighter weight, and pretend your reaching around a tree on your way up. Go very slow on the way down. If ur trying to bulk up, doing flyes with a bunch of weight is a poor idea though.

MY favoriye exercise for upper body:

Chin-ups with boots- 100 a day

100!?

damn thats good. I think I can only do about 15 non-stop...20 on a good day - only 1 set tho
